Meet The Founders of FriendenArts

Life threw us a curveball when our son Branden was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a neurodegenerative condition affecting the muscles used for breathing, eating, and movement. Branden's difficult journey sparked a mission: to help young people like him find joy and purpose through art. Art became Branden's voice, his passion, and a way to express himself beyond his physical challenges—so much so that he’s now known for his artistry.

Our journey took another turn when we learned Jaden had a pituitary adenoma, a tumor affecting his growth hormone production. This diagnosis added another layer of understanding to the challenges faced by young people with life changing conditions.

But amidst these challenges, a beautiful discovery emerged. Art became the bridge between our sons. Their shared passion in creativity is symbolized by the "en" combining their names in FriendenArts.

FriendenArts isn't just about our sons; it's about their friends, a community of talented young artists who share similar life journeys and challenges. Their unique art, born from adversity, adds value to big brands who from partnering with us and our artists, they elevate their brand image from associating with inspiring stories of resilience and creativity, connect with customers on an emotional level through authentic art, and drive durable social impact.

Join us. Together, let’s turn challenges into dreams and help young people thrive through art.
