This art exhibition reveals the realities faced by children with disabilities in their pursuit of education, expressed through powerful artworks and the raw voices of their parents.

Year after year, families fight for their children’s right to learn. Education should create opportunities, yet for many, the doors remain closed—turning dreams into obstacles. Step into their world, where art speaks beyond words, and the call for true inclusion cannot be ignored.

Shifting Thoughts 1,2,3,4

2024, Acrylic on canvas, 30cm x 30cm

It’s like my mind is always changing—one minute, everything makes sense, and the next, it’s all confusing. The mix of light and dark shows the ups and downs, the good days and the tough ones. It’s messy, it’s real, and it’s me figuring out who I am.

"Branden’s paintings say what he can’t. When words don’t work, his brush takes over. He paints what it feels like to be left out, to be told ‘no’ before even getting a chance. His pieces Shifting Thoughts says it all—messy, colorful, some paths clear, some completely blocked. That’s his life. That’s what it’s like to fight for an education when the system was never made for kids like him. But Branden can't keep waiting. He’s not sitting there hoping for things to change. His art is his way of pushing forward. Every brushstroke, every splash of color, he’s proving something.

Inclusion is not about making kids like him ‘fit in.’ It’s about making sure they’re never shut out to begin with."

Dream Kampung

2024, Acrylic on canvas, 30cm x 30cm

This is the kind of village I wish to live in.

"Priya wants to be an artist. Not just for fun—he wants to make it his life. He painted a galaxy, full possibilities, because that’s how he wants to see his future. Takde SPM? Cannot masuk college. Need a caregiver? Siapa tolong. Every day, his body gets weaker, and time is running out. If he doesn’t start now, when? I see his painting of a kampung is where nobody gets left behind—where education is for everyone, not just those who can ‘fit the system.’ That’s the world Priya dreams of. But dreaming is not enough. He needs a way. He needs a chance."

💔  If you’ve ever felt left out, you’ll understand. If you haven’t, see why it matters. No one should lose hope just because the system wasn’t made for them.
